Morgan Thompson

Director, Branded Entertainment

As Director of Branded Entertainment at Bunim/Murray Productions, Morgan is responsible for leading strategic brand partnerships across all current and developing BMP programming. This includes brand integrations, custom content, product placement, and trade outs—managing those relationships from start to finish and working with producers, network partners, and talent to deliver innovative creative. Additionally, Morgan works to identify and produce groundbreaking opportunities with brands across the media landscape (TV, OTT, digital, social, experiential events) to drive revenue and leverage the BMP brand. She worked on the relaunch of The Real World on Facebook Watch in 2019—collaborating with production to create the first-ever, multi-city integration on the new iteration of the series. She also had the pleasure of securing new brand partners to support the Born This Way Christmas Special, which served as a memorable sendoff for the beloved show on A&E.

NOTABLE BMP PROJECTS YOU’VE WORKED ON: I’ve developed and executed numerous integrations for Keeping Up with the Kardashians, The Challenge, Total Divas, and Miz & Mrs, providing value to the production budgets for each show.

 

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WITH BMP AND WHAT WAS YOUR ROLE WHEN YOU FIRST STARTED? I’ve been with BMP since 2019, in the role of Director, Branded Entertainment.

 

BRIEF SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE PRIOR TO BMP: I held senior marketing roles at Warner Bros, Cosmopolitan Magazine, and Seventeen Magazine.

 

COLLEGE/DEGREE(S): B.A. in Advertising from the School of Media and Journalism at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

 

FUN FACT ABOUT YOU: In addition to working behind-the-scenes, I’ve also spent time in front of the camera as a TV host. I was the on-camera Merchandising Editor for Redbook, Cosmopolitan, and Seventeen magazines, hosting morning show segments and digital videos. I also served as the co-host for a New York-based TV show called “Profiles,” which featured interviews with various celebrities.
